Early shift
It is nearly 3.00am and the rain is pissing down and the wind is howling. But I have to get to work as do a lot of others. This time of day is fairly normal to me and thousands of others that work in the bus industry. Think of that next time you curse the bus driver for being late.

A loss for Wales
Well all the talk about Wales beating the Aussies yesterday came to nothing as they hammered us 33-12 Wales Game The must have been about 70,000 welsh supporters yesterday as well as half the nation that were absolutely gutted after that. Anyone expecting the Aussies to be a walk in the park were bloody disapointed.
I was in work yesterday and town was heaving at 4.30 pm as the supporters gathered in town before the match. The one thing about Rugby is that there is rarely any trouble. The fans just want to see a good game and enjoy themselves. Not that they did yesterday by the sound of it!

Wales v Australia
Well it may be pouring down with bloody rain again, but Cardiff will be heaving with rugby fans today as Cardiff play Australia in the last of the autumn rugby matches. The Aussies beat Cardiff Blues 30-3 this week, and were beaten by the Scots last week. The Welsh will want to get them back for that beating and the Aussies will want to make up for the loss to the Scots before they go home. All in all it should be a good match.

I have thousands of photos published in Picasa and if you would like to check them out they can be found at Steve's Photos. Take a look and let me know what you think of them.
Rain and work
Well another rainy day and off to work. I work in an office so it will not matter to much. But the guys that have to wander outdoors these days must think this bloody weather will never end.
well I have to get ready for work now but I really would like it if someone actually read this rubbish and let me know about it.

Still raining
As no-one reads this crap, I might as well moan to myself. The bloody rain has not stopped for days now. I know that we in November and it Wales but shit! you would think it would stop for a day or two! At least we are not in Cumbria though and have not had the bad floods this year. They are used to the stuff up there but they realty have been through it this last week or so.
Cumbria Flood link I feel for those up there as the floods are unprecedented and they are having a terrible time.

rembering when it did not rain
Well we have had sometimes this year when the rain did not come down. It seems a long time ago now though so I thought that I would put in a photo or two of those times. We spent a week with a friend from Holland in August. There were one or two days that week when the rain stopped and on one of them we went on the Brecon mountain railway.
We also had a day out in Cardiff Castle when the rain was coming down and I have put in some from the inside of that lovely place.
And for the last today I have put in one taken in the sun when we were in Ireland on holiday. If you actually read this drivel will you let me know so I know if it has been worth it?

Back again
I doubt whether anyone actually reads this drivel but I am going to try and start blogging a bit more regularly from now on. I have bought a new laptop and using it will be a bit easier these days.
I am seriously thinking of retiring next year about three years early to look after my wife who is disabled and needs more care. Work is getting busy and full time work and caring is getting very difficult. It will all depend on money of course as everything does these days.
