A sad time

This week my mother passed away. At 92 years old she had a long life, but I had spent a lot of time with her since my wife passed away five years ago, and this is a very hard time.

The family are devastated. She had four grandchildren, my son and my brothers three and four great grandchildren, all of whom will miss her badly.

The funeral is in a weeks time, and that will be hard as well, as she was very popular with the local community and the church.

I just needed to put this down, even if no-one reads it. R.I.P. mum.

Just catching up

I have not posted for some time, but this rarely gets read anyway! I have a new and lovely lady in my life, and she has bought new meaning to it. We are just both quite peaceful people and are purely enjoying our time together.
